Grace and Peace, Family.  I just found out about this family reunion today from my mom and brother.  God\'s will, my family and I will be attending.  Can you believe that I have not met my family?  My dad, Claude Ellison, passed in 2005.  His mother (and my grandmother) was Doshie Beene Ellison.  I am so glad to have found my family.  I already know WHOSE I am, but I would like to know WHO I am.  We look so forward to meeting you all.  I will pass this information to all of my cousins here in Connecticut and Boston, MA and my sister in Chicago.  My 47th birthday is July 17 and meeting my family for the FIRST time will be the best birthday present ever!  Looking forward to meeting you all.  Love ya, Yvonne

I am thrilled to find there is still active interest in the Bean/Beene family history.  My previous link was 'The Bean Stalk' of the Southern Bean Association but to my knowledge they are gone. I am the great great grandson of Willis Monroe Beene who was born on Jan. 8, 1846 in Alabama. I live in Coweta, Oklahoma. My wife and I attended the 30th Anniversary Oklahoma Scottish Festival yesterday and had a great time!
